Invited by the Help for the Massai Foundation, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade – Hungarian Water Sector Development Facility, we conducted groundwater investigations in Malambo, Northern Tanzania. During the field work (September and November 2018.) we carried out geological, hydrogeological mapping, water and soil sampling. We used VLF and Slingram electromagnetic methods to identify a potential place for drinking water well.

The results were presented at workshop in Malambo and Budapest – ELTE University and were summarized in a Preliminary Feasibility Study.

As a continuation of the project, a pilot well will be drilled in autumn 2019 and additional well locations will be selected.
